Yunuen Rodriguez, LSW

Yunuen is a doctoral candidate at the Crown School of Social Work, Policy, & Practice, and brings 13 years of experience in the social work profession. Her EMDR-focused clinical approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity to heal.
She earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Beloit College and two AM degrees from the University of Chicago, in Sociology and Clinical Social Work. Her doctoral research examines immigrant well-being and how immigration policies shape the well-being of families across borders, which deepens her understanding of the ways in which social, cultural, and structural circumstances can shape well-being.
Yunuen is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Yunuen works with teens and adults from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, using evidence-based tools to support each client’s individual goals for healing and growth.
