Carrie Estrada, LCSW

EMDR Therapist

Carrie Estrada headshot

Carrie brings 25 years of clinical experience to her work as an EMDR therapist, with deep roots in trauma-informed care. She trained in EMDR in 2014 and has since made it a cornerstone of her practice, using it to help clients process trauma that feels stuck or overwhelming.

Carrie's clinical background includes extensive work at a Child Advocacy Center and a Rape Crisis Center, where she supported survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and complex trauma. She holds an MSW from Loyola University Chicago (LCSW, Illinois).

Carrie is especially passionate about supporting people in the helping professions — clinicians, first responders, and caregivers — who carry the weight of burnout and vicarious trauma from their work with others.

Carrie's approach is warm, direct, and deeply collaborative. She believes healing happens within safe relationships, and she centers each client's pace and autonomy, focusing first on stabilization and safety before processing difficult experiences.
