EMDR Group of Chicago is a trauma-focused group practice specializing in structured, evidence-based EMDR treatment. We provide EMDR therapy in Chicago and online across Illinois and are building a collegial, consultation-oriented clinical team.

We are seeking experienced, licensed clinicians trained in EMDR who are committed to professional growth, clinical excellence, and sustainable trauma-focused practice.

Position Overview

Clinicians provide individual and group EMDR therapy to adults and teens, participate in structured consultation, and contribute to a culture of thoughtful, high-quality care.

This position is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy within a clear clinical framework.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field

  • Active Illinois license (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or LSW under supervision)

  • Completion of The EMDR Institute’s 40-hour EMDR training program

  • Professional maturity and comfort treating trauma-exposed populations

Responsibilities

  • See a minimum of 20 clients per week (our busiest therapists may choose to see 27+)

  • Offer in-person availability at least 2 days/week

  • Participate in weekly consultation or supervision

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

  • Complete limited scheduling and billing-related tasks
